A nationally-acclaimed dance company like Miami City Ballet requires not only countless rehearsals and long hours building sets and costumes, but most importantly, the wholehearted support of the community.
For more than two decades, the key to Miami City Ballet's extraordinary success has been it's Artist's Circle, the company's closest friends who provide annual operating support at the $2,000 level and above. Such generosity through membership groups like the Artist's Circle and Friends of Miami City Ballet ($250 and above) is critical to all the on stage and behind-the-scenes activities that make each performance so inspiring.
It takes more than great dancers to make a great dance company. It takes the dedication and support of people like you.
In addition to these membership groups, there are many other specialized giving opportunities, including underwriting new ballets and special social events.

Without you, much of what we do would not be possible.
- As with many cultural performing arts organizations, only about half of the income needed to put on performances comes from ticket sales and other earned income. The remaining comes from contributed income.
- The majority (57%) of much needed contributed income comes from the generosity of donors, especially individual patrons.
- Only about one-quarter of our contributed income comes from corporations, foundations and government grants.
