Miami City Ballet School strives to be one of the foremost conservatories of classical dance training in the United States. It is a feeder school for the Miami City Ballet Company and produces dancers who are being hired for classical ballet companies all over the country.

The School's measure of success is not without costs. Because of the many wonderful individuals, foundations and corporations that join together every year to continue to support the School, we are able to provide programs that make a difference in children's lives.

Exploring Dance: $15,000

Miami City Ballet School?s goal is to share the art of dance, ballet and/or jazz with a diverse cross-section of South Florida's public schools through a rich variety of programs including: in-school residencies, community performances, teacher workshops, speaking engagements, and free ticket giveaways to MCB dress rehearsals and performances. This program is designed to enhance the in-school experience of children who are in the free lunch or reduced lunch programs.

In-school residencies culminate with a public performance held at the host school or at Miami City Ballet (depending on the location and availability). Exploring Dance performances will involve children from the host school and may involve resident students, Miami City Ballet Company dancers, MCB School students, and other guest artists. Exploring Dance community performances celebrate dance, children and the arts!

National Summer Intensive Audition Tour Sponsor: $15,000

Starting in January, up to 1,000 students from all over the country compete at auditions for the highly coveted 150 spaces at the Miami City Ballet School Summer Intensive Program. As the sponsor of this national audition tour, you will receive:
